While it was not a surprise, it is still shocking to know that my mother has passed. I take peace of mind in knowing that she passed without pain. I like to think of her reunion with my father and her parents. And yet I miss her and her relationship with my children. Mourning her reminds me of who she was before she got sick. She was so filled with life, beauty, and energy. She had a huge impact on my world and the world.
