Yadid and I have been working on reading. The other day we were playing a junior version of Boggle. I spotted the letters V, O, I, and D. I put them together and said, “Void”. He then asked me what the word means. I replied, ” It means a space, a hole, or some place that something used to be”. He seemed content with that answer. I wanted to see if he was integrating this information. So I asked, ” Yadid, can you use the word ‘VOID’ in a sentence?” He replied, “Sure Abba, someone almost got hurt, and I said, ‘ Oye Va Void’. That filled my heart with joy. What a mensch?
